Annual Retreat

The Group holds an annual retreat for students and faculty at which research is showcased. The retreat is generally held over a weekend in the fall. It is an excellent opportunity to hear about contemporary Bioengineering research, seek out lab rotations, and hear of openings for rotations and dissertation projects. BEAST officers are elected at this annual meeting. Research mentors pay the registration fees for students who are working in their labs. Students without a mentor attend using travel funds or by fee waiver.
