6.3 UCSF Registration
WARNING: The UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar has strict due dates and will charge students an additional late fee for missed due dates.
UCSF Home Campus Students:
UCSF Home Campus students must register every quarter at UCSF by completing the UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar (OAR) process.
Review the UCSF OAR procedures on the web http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html and the UCSF Add/Drop due dates http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html#study
Every Quarter, UCSF Home Campus students must file:
1. Intent to Register to the UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar (either on-line at https://student.ucsf.edu:8443/studentportal/login.jsp or in person at UCSF OAR 500 Parnassus Ave. room MU200W).
2. UCSF Study List with a minimum of 8 units to the UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar (either online at http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html#study or in person to UCSF OAR 500 Parnassus Ave., room MU200W. Example: Bioeng 250 Research 8 units; or for those students advanced to candidacy: Bioeng 299 Dissertation.
Note: Whenever UCSF based students are taking courses offered at Berkeley, they must file a paper copy of the Study List in person to the UCSF OAR. The UCSF Registrar's on-line system does not include Berkeley courses, so on-line registration is not possible.
Berkeley Home Campus Students:
Students NOT taking UCSF courses should review and update their contact information on-line for the UCSF OAR at: https://student.ucsf.edu:8443/studentportal/login.jsp
Enrolling in UCSF courses should review the UCSF OAR Study List Filing procedures on the web http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html and the UCSF Add / Drop due dates http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html#study.
Study List Filing must be submitted to the UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar (either online at http://saawww.ucsf.edu/admission/reg.html#study or by hard copy to UCSF Office of Admissions and Registrar, 500 Parnassus Avenue room MU200W.
