Research Interests

Our lab seeks to understand how populations of cells collectively make reliable decisions in complex tissues and how cooperation can go awry in disease. A common theme is the combined use of single-cell perturbation assays, quantitative imaging, machine learning and theory, which is empowered by our multi-disciplinary approach and team. Current projects include uncovering design principles of complex tissues, designing rational drug treatment strategies and accelerating drug discovery in cancer and neurodegenerative disease.
