Research Interests

My research group is focused on highly innovative technical developments for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) based on signal processing, image reconstruction, machine learning, MR physics, and biochemical interactions. Our primary projects include technical developments for hyperpolarized carbon-13 MRI contrast agents with applications in cancer imaging, improved methods for hybrid PET/MRI systems, and imaging ultrafast relaxing components in tissues such as tendons, bone, lungs, and myelin.
