We examine the biophysical and structural basis of signal transduction by the largest family of receptors in the human genome. We create synthetic modulators of transmembrane receptors to probe signaling biology and networks. A central focus currently is the development of single domain antibodies that can modulate G protein coupled receptor function. To do so, we develop synthetic libraries and put them through build, test, learn cycles.
