The lab focuses on image-based analysis of vascular disease including atherosclerosis and aneurysmal disease. The impacts of hemodynamics and inflammation in the progression of disease over time are studied using experimental and computational methods. Novel MR imaging methods are used to identify features of the vasculature that place individuals at elevated risk of poor outcomes.
