Dr. Christoph’s lab performs interdisciplinary research in the field of computational cardiology and imaging. Combining bioengineering, computer vision, artificial intelligence, nonlinear physics and the physics of complex biological systems, the lab’s mission is to 1) develop beyond state-of-the-art imaging and measurement techniques for a better, more effective diagnosis of heart disease, 2) study the heart’s highly dynamic behavior, and 3) bridge the gap between basic cardiovascular science, high-resolution imaging and numerical modeling.
