Research

My lab conducts morphological and electrophysiological studies of cochlear implants and auditory system development and plasticity. We are interested in neural protection after early-onset deafness, neurotrophins, and use of adeno-associated viral vectors to force neurotrophin expression and promote neural survival in the cochlea.
