Three faculty of the UC Berkeley – UCSF Graduate Program in Bioengineering were selected for NIH New Innovator awards. Professors Edward Chang and Bo Huang of UCSF and Michelle Chang of UC Berkeley were among those selected for 2011.
These awards are granted to faculty to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas that have the potential to propel fields forward and speed the translation of research into improved health for the American public.
