Neurological Surgery
We fuse approaches in biomolecular and cellular engineering, materials science, and systems neuroscience to engineer tools and devices to interface with the nervous system. We aim to engineer technologies to target, map, readout, and/or control neural circuits while minimizing damage to tissue. We apply these tools to advance our understanding of brain-body physiology and to inform new therapeutic approaches for bioelectronic medicine.
